Meet Lori……
I’m a Buddhist practitioner and a licensed psychotherapist and I’ve worked with hundreds of people in my career. My whole life has been a study and practice of consciousness, the psyche and being human. I did a lot of healing work on myself until I realized that it was taking me down an unnecessary path that was leading to more suffering. It was a trap and there was no end to it! It did however expose me to the expertise of many different healing modalities and practitioners that I now integrate into my work.
I believe in the power of what can happen when practitioner and client engage in a process together. Again and again, I have witnessed how this unique and collaborative relationship undoes old patterns and makes room for new ways of being and relating. While I bring a depth of training to my work, I am ultimately guided by my sense of what each person needs and what we discover together.
There is another way to live and move through the world: one that involves ease, spaciousness, joy and freedom. That’s what I help people experience.
My professional background and specialties include:
13-year private psychotherapy practice with adults, children, teens and parents
25-year Buddhist meditation practice in Therevadan and Tibetan lineages
Silent meditation retreats ranging from 1-6 weeks, both in solo and group settings
